Checa confirmed for Tech 3 Yamaha

After a few unsubtle hints here and the odd FIM entry list there, Carlos Checa has finally been confirmed as the second Tech 3 Yamaha rider.

The Ducati, Honda and Kawasaki teams began testing at the Australian Phillip Island circuit today, having flown directly from last weeks Sepang tests.

From Tuesday this week, Valentino Rossi will once again be testing for Ferrari. However this isn't like the previous tests; he will be on track alongside drivers from Mclaren, Williams, Toyota, Honda and BMW.
