The Phillip Island test concluded today with dry but fairly slippery conditions for the Ducati, Kawasaki and Honda teams.
After a wet day on Wednesday most riders were looking to make up for lost time, completing as many laps as possible today (Melandri perhaps most notably, completing 113 laps without stopping for lunch). The Australian test ends with results not dissimilar to last weeks test in Sepang. Melandri is once again at the top of the timesheets (excluding qualifying times from the Ducatis) and the Repsol Honda and Marlboro Ducati teams are also looking quick. For all three teams at the test this week there is now a week off which will be followed by a return to the Sepang circuit in Malaysia beginning on the 14th of February. Phillip Island Day 3 Times1. Marco Melandri (Honda), 1:30.60
