Valentino Rossi picked up his second race win in a row on Sunday in Catalunya. The Italian rider took a comfortable win in a race that had to be restarted due to a nasty first corner crash that saw 5 bikes head into the gravel. Marco Melandri, Sete Gibernau and Loris Capirossi were all injured and it currently looks as though Capirossi may be the only rider of the three that will be able to race in Assen this weekend.2006 Catalunya MotoGP Race Results1) Valentino Rossi Camel Yamaha Team - 41'31.237 Apologies for the total lack of coverage of the Catalunya GP. Our staff of one were off doing normal, sane person things this weekend (like not updating MotoGP websites) and then when we wrote up a nice little roundup of the race and the events following, our publishing software chewed it up, spat it out and laughed at us. Well, regardless - normal service will resume... now. (0) Comment on this article in our forums |
