Testing plans ruined by further rain in Sepang

The weather has once again thrown a spanner in the works at the Sepang International Circuit today, with a damp track in the morning along with rain in the afternoon making the team's testing schedules impossible to achieve.

Most riders only managed a few hours of track time scattered across the day, so the standard final day race simulations weren't an option. When the teams did leave the pits, it was for a slower track than yesterday and few riders managed to improve on their time.

Loris Capirossi was the quickest of the day with a 2'01.92 which he completed during a brief 3 lap window where the track was dry.

Suzuki rider Chris Vermeulen only completed one lap today due to an injury. Further updates on that and the rest of the test will follow shortly. 

Today marks the end of the 'winter' tests and the teams will now return to Europe to prepare for the IRTA tests which take place from the 3rd to the 5th of March in Barcelona and 10th to the 12th of March in Jerez.
